QUINN BEAUTY
Quintessential Beauty are a beauty and aesthetics salon based in Hull. The business wanted to update their website to achieve a more elegant, high end feel and I happily took on the project. I initially created a new colour palette, consisting of muted natural shades of lilacs, golds and nudes, and then teamed this with a super fine serif font.

DESIGN ELEMENTS
I added elegant, simplistic illustrations throughout the site, to create a unique and feminine touch. These gold illustrated icons are also used on call to action rollovers, and within the navigation. This assists in highlighting key sections, and helps guide the user to a specific page. I teamed this with soft edge and arched imagery, which enhanced the feminine feel throughout.
LAYOUT & SECTIONS
I ensured a wide selection of custom built options were included, to add interest to every page. And although the design is very clean and consistent, no two pages are the same. Bespoke sections ensure a wide variety of layouts are used to display information. A combination of image sizes and shapes ensures the pages are bespoke and avoids looking like a template.
FULLY RESPONSIVE
The site is beautifully responsive on mobile - without comprising on any design elements. All curved edges and icons are displayed even on the smallest of screens which means the user will see the design in it’s entirety. This was a key point for the client, as the majority of their customer base view the website on mobile.
