CLUB SODA
Club Soda are a dating company based in Ireland that organise sociable group events, where single people can meet in real life. The business have an eye catching, approachable and playful brand style, and wanted their website to reflect this. Using a rainbow colour palette, I ensured bold graphics were implemented throughout, and teamed this with chunky, oversized text and heart shaped imagery.

DESIGN ELEMENTS
Oversized, heart shaped elements are used throughout to display key information in a playful, eye catching way. This was teamed with colourful animated rollovers which show latest events, and animated ‘book now’ call to action buttons. Icons are used to highlight key information, ensuring messages are clearly understood by the user, and vital points are not missed.
LAYOUT & POSITIONING
I had the challenge of displaying a lot of information in a clear, concise and visually pleasing way. This was achieved by creating multiple layouts, carefully spaced out so that key information is highlighted.
Lists were displayed using oversized bullet points and coloured lines, or set out in columns teamed with illustrated icons. Headings, subheadings and body copy were used to create a hierarchy of information, and prevented any overwhelming blocks of text.
RESPONSIVE DESIGN
I ensured the site was responsive on mobile - without comprising on any of the playful design elements. A lot of users will be using the site on their phone, therefore it was essential the pages display and work perfectly on smaller screens. This complex and well built site works well on all devices, and all curved edges and icons are displayed with no design compromise.
