MELIOR TUTORS
Melior Tutors are a private tutoring service offering in-person and online tutors for a wide variety of ages. The organisation wanted a new look based around their existing logo. Using the blues and greens from this, I created a fresh, plant themed design with fun, illustrative assets.

DESIGN ELEMENTS
Rounded corners were applied for images and rollovers, to achieve a soft, approachable look. The round edges are continued throughout the site, to ensure consistency.
Call to action rollovers change colour on hover, while bullet point lists are broken up by applying an oversized number option which keeps information clear and concise.
BOTANICAL THEME
I chose a botanical theme as both a playful nod to the logo, and to the subject of ‘learning’ and ‘growth’. Oversized plant illustrations in brand colours are used in banners and as decoration throughout. Stock illustrations of teaching scenes have also been added; This breaks up imagery and ties in with the illustrated theme.
RESPONSIVE DESIGN
The site is beautifully responsive on mobile - without comprising on any design elements. This factor is important for the client, as many potential students will be looking at the site on their phones.
